WINTER SPORTS
The magnificence of the winter landscapes and the sparkling whiteness of snowy Borovets are the first experiences that take the breath away of visitors to the resort. In winter, this mountain oasis offers excellent conditions for winter sports: skiing, biathlon, running, and snowboarding. Borovets boasts the best slopes in Bulgaria, suitable for both beginners and advanced skiers. Skiing and snowboarding can be enjoyed at all levels, with some slopes even designed for night skiing. You can experience the wide runs of the Markudzhik area or the Yastrebets slopes, winding picturesquely through the forest.
SLOPES
Borovets offers over 58 km of diverse, well-maintained slopes for both beginner and advanced skiers, grouped into three areas.
MARCUDJIK SKI CENTER
It is located at an altitude from 2,144 m to 2,550 m. Classified as a blue slope. Its length is 773 m.

It is located at an altitude from 1,340 m to 2,369 m. Classified as a red slope. The area is equipped with a snowmaking system covering the “Popangelov” and “Yastrebets 3” slopes, with an area of 200 decares.

It is located at an altitude from 1,350 m to 1,780 m. The area has a snowmaking system covering 2.5 km of the “Martinovi Baraki” slopes and artificial lighting for night skiing on the “Iglika” and “Rila” slopes.
